Saleem Sameja is a fine art photographer and bookmaker, born in Tanzania and based in London. His work investigates ideas of home, belonging and cultural memory, often shaped through the physical process of sequencing and bookmaking. Influenced by his Tanzanian-Asian heritage, Saleem’s practice explores how identity is carried across landscapes, languages and generational ties. Using photography, text and material experimentation, he builds visual narratives that move between presence and absence, memory and material.
